    Wild beauty

Howe Sound is a place of wild beauty, right next door to the bustling city of Vancouver, B.C.

After decades of recovery efforts and millions in taxpayer dollars, Howe Sound is coming back to life. The herring have returned, and with them, the salmon, sea lions, dolphins, and whales.

    Critical ecosystem services

The Howe Sound watershed provides ecosystem services valued at $7.5 billion annually, including: food, clean water, a stable climate, protection from natural disasters, and a place to connect with nature.
