My name is Rhiannon Fox, and I am proud to be My Sea to Sky's new Campaign Coordinator.

We are organizing in Vancouver, Squamish, and virtually across Canada!

With both Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC trying to fast-track construction, we have a lot of community outreach planned for the next year. We can still stop these projects, but we need your help.

Drop by at the Farmer's Markets, sign up for a volunteer meeting, or get inspired at a Climate Action Café. Check out all our upcoming events and RSVP to attend.

People power in action

Last week, My Sea to Sky volunteers pulled off some kickass organizing with our Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation allies.

We created a sea of “Stop FortisBC” signs at FortisBC’s public info session in Squamish. Check out the photos by our volunteer photographer, Caroline Routhier. You can feel the righteous anger in these photos. The energy in that room was incredible, and we let FortisBC know in no uncertain terms that their project is not welcome in Squamish.

At the end of the public information session, FortisBC employees walked out while Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation members sang the Women’s Warrior Song to highlight the disproportional impacts of mancamps on Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ people. This is unacceptable, and shows how little FortisBC cares about ensuring the safety and human rights of everyone that lives in the region. WATCH THE VIDEO

Help us to hold FortisBC accountable. Please take a moment to amplify the following social media posts and use the hashtag: #StopFortisBC

My Sea to Sky has successfully delayed Woodfibre LNG and the FortisBC pipeline since 2015. We can and we will stop this new fossil fuel infrastructure.

This is how we organize. This is how we win.

Please join us!

My Sea to Sky is incredibly proud and grateful to say that we rely on the My Sea to Sky community for small donations that provide the majority of our funding. Since our launch in 2014, we have been funded through personal savings, family and friends; and powered by the passion of our volunteers. Your generous contribution will help us to run our critical campaigns to defend, protect, and restore Howe Sound. Can you chip in?
