Anonymously Report Tips and Concerns about Woodfibre LNG or FortisBC
My Sea to Sky is undertaking an independent impact assessment to document non-compliance, as well as social and environmental impacts by Woodfibre LNG, FortisBC, and their subcontractors.
If you have observed concerns about the impact of the Woodfibre LNG project or the associated high-pressure gas pipeline and tunnel constructed by FortisBC, we want to hear about them. We encourage reports from anyone with information about the harms and impacts of these two projects to submit their concerns on the form below.
If you believe the conduct you are reporting is criminal, please report directly to the RCMP. If your safety is at immediate risk, call 911. If it is not an emergency, contact the Squamish RCMP at their non-emergency line: +1-604-892-6100. If appropriate to do so, please also let us know that you have filed a report so we can track the number of reports being made to the police about the FortisBC and Woodfibre LNG projects.

What we will do with your information?
My Sea to Sky has retained a lawyer to develop a framework for collecting, documenting and analyzing community reports about concerns related to the impacts of Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC.
We will analyze the information submitted to hold Woodfibre LNG, FortisBC, and government regulators accountable for harmful impacts to our communities, our environment, and our rights.
Where appropriate, we may make reports of non-compliance to regulators to conduct investigations and ensure that the corporations are adhering to permit requirements and their promises.
My Sea to Sky will use this information to raise awareness about the impacts of LNG projects in our communities, push for stronger regulatory oversight, and blow the whistle on corporations who are hurting our environment, wildlife, and people to maximize their profits.
We want to assure you that we take every report seriously and will act upon reports deemed credible and actionable. We will rigorously assess the credibility of each report we receive to maintain the credibility and integrity of this reporting system.

Things to consider including when making a report are the following
When? Document the date and time of the incident / observation. If you don’t know exact dates and times, try to recall whether it was daytime / night time and other details to narrow the timeframe to the best of your ability.
Where? Where did the incident / observation occur? If you don’t know the exact location, try to identify buildings or natural landmarks to help narrow down where the incident / observation was made.
Who? Who was involved? How many people were involved (if any) and any physical characteristics. Try to get license plate numbers, vehicle descriptions, and look for logos or colours on vehicles or apparel.
What? What happened? Describe any encounter or observation as thoroughly as possible. The more objective details and facts you provide, the better able we are to corroborate and document your report. Consider details such as words used, behaviour and gestures, colours, labels, condition of an item / vehicle, etc.
Please do not risk your safety, or another person’s safety to document your concerns. Use your discretion and at your own risk
