If I close my eyes, I’m floating on gently lapping waves amidst playful sea lions and rocky bluffs lined with sea kelp.

I’m standing high on a pristine, snowy peak overlooking distant islands and crags, watching water flow from mountaintop to fjord.

I’m walking in the estuary among old growth sitka spruce, watching songbirds, deer, and bear thrive in our wetland’s rich landscape.

When I think of Átl'ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound, this is what I see.

This place could not be more special: bountiful in its beauty, its opportunities, and in its resiliency. Howe Sound is the comeback story of the century—the place that could, and the people who helped it get there.

There is so much here worth protecting. Our precious wildlife, our vibrant community, our cultural heritage, and our ecosystems, all brilliantly unmatched.

Please consider becoming a monthly supporter to help us defend, protect, and restore Átl'ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound.

Monthly donations don't need to be big to have a huge impact. As a small organization, monthly donations are what allow us to plan long-term projects and campaigns. We are very grateful to have an amazing community of monthly donors who understand that the work to defend, protect, and restore Átl’ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound is urgent and ongoing.

Sign up now, and a wonderful local donor will match your monthly donations for the entire year. If you're already a monthly supporter, your donations will also be matched in 2024!

Yes! Please double my monthly gift!

$82K and counting!

Our legal actions are well underway, and we are in awe of how quickly our community has stepped up in support. With immense gratitude to everyone that has contributed so far—your generosity has helped us to raise $82,000 in a little over two months.

Another amazing local donor has offered to match the next $20,000 in donations, writing: "We all have to win this great battle you have taken on to stop fracking and pipelines to address the climate crisis."

Can you chip in to help pay for legal fees, expert peer review, access to information, and dedicated staff time to support these two legal actions?

Help us reach $100,000 and we will get another $20,000 in matching donations.

With gratitude,
