FortisBC has a dirty little secret in the middle of Vancouver called Tilbury LNG.
In May, I visited Tilbury LNG with Tim Doty to capture footage of Tilbury LNG's invisible air pollution using an optical gas imaging (OGI) camera.
This small LNG storage facility is a massive polluter, filling Vancouver's airshed with invisible plumes of toxic chemicals. These pollutants are harmful for the climate and human health.
And FortisBC has applied to make Tilbury LNG ten times bigger. WATCH THE VIDEOS

FortisBC wants to expand Tilbury LNG to produce 2.5 million tonnes of LNG every year.
LNG is a fossil fuel, specifically methane, which is 80-86 times more potent than CO2 over a 20-year period.
Why are we building new fossil fuel infrastructure when Canada is on fire?
Expanding Tilbury LNG will increase greenhouse gas emissions and harmful air pollution in Vancouver's airshed.
