This girl is on fire
September 13, 2024

This is a critical moment. Can you join me tomorrow in Squamish to send a flaming message to our local, provincial, and federal leaders?
With the provincial election around the corner, and a key local decision on FortisBC's workcamp this month, we need to demonstrate strong and ongoing opposition to Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC's fracked gas pipeline. The more people that show up, the more that various levels of government will listen to what we have to say. This is how we build power.
It is not too late to cancel the permits for this destructive new fossil fuel infrastructure. But we need bold and courageous leaders that are willing to stand up for what is right.
These projects aren't built yet. Don't build it! The cost to our climate, our health, our safety, our economy, and our environment are too high.
Rain or shine, nothing can quench this fire if we stand together!

Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC have done everything they can to try to fool you into believing that this project is a done deal. It's not.
We are never giving up the fight. We have several legal actions underway, and the project is running into technical difficulty as FortisBC's tunnel under the estuary keeps collapsing.
These projects only win when people give up. That is why I am holding on to radical hope.
Can you join me as I stand with Indigenous Leaders tomorrow in Squamish? Rain or shine, it's gonna be fire.
