I need your help

This summer, I've been working with a diverse network of environmental, indigenous, labour, health, business, faith, and youth groups to develop an open letter calling on the BC government to confront the climate emergency and commit to ten climate actions.

This letter is a bold and visionary call to action grounded in science and climate justice. See a sneak preview here.

I need your help to get as many organizations, faith groups, community groups, outdoor recreation groups, and businesses to sign this by midnight on Sunday 26th September.

HERE'S OUR PLAN TO BUILD PEOPLE POWER:

  1. Deliver this open letter to the BC government on Tuesday 28th September.

  2. Coordinate meetings with MLAs to deliver the letter.

  3. Collect signatures from individuals on the petition.

  4. Keep up the pressure over the next year as this movement builds.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP!

It's going to be pouring rain this Sunday. Can you spend an hour to help us get the signatures we need? Ask your friends that own a business. Ask your faith group. Ask your community group. Ask your outdoor recreation group.

You can also sign this petition as an individual.

All of the links you need are here in one place.

TAKE ACTION NOW!

Climate change is already affecting our communities and our health. The good news is that if we take individual and collective action now we can stabilize global warming. But we need to act with great urgency.

Please help.
