I grew up canoe pulling on the sacred waters of Átl’ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound, which taught me a lot of cultural values and lessons.
Not only did Átl’ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound connect me to my community, ancestors, and home—it gifted me with a canoe family, healing me on my leadership journey, and shaping me into who I am today.
For that I will always grateful, and an advocate for the land and water.

I first started volunteering with My Sea to Sky in 2015, and I am honoured to have been an advocate for their campaign to #ProtectHoweSound since 2017.

My Sea to Sky is incredibly proud and grateful to say that we rely on the My Sea to Sky community for small donations that provide the majority of our funding.
