FortisBC's 24-inch pipeline is putting residents at risk

FortisBC pipeline and compressor station amendment

FortisBC has applied for an amendment to its Environmental Assessment Certificate, and the public comment period started last week (deadline = 23rd December).

We are putting together a team of researchers to review the proposed changes (email info@myseatosky.org if you can help), and will share our key concerns soon.

Here's what we know so far:

We still need $5,000 to reach our $20K goal.

We have a team of three expert lawyers evaluating whether we have a case to challenge the recent five-year extension for Woodfibre LNG through a judicial review. Our community has raised an amazing $15K in two weeks, but we're still $5K short.

Can you chip in so we can continue to fight Woodfibre LNG?

Please consider making a monthly donation to support our critical work to #StopWoodfibreLNG.

With a resounding thank you to the 158 supporters that have chipped in so far!

We don't want to spend another five years fighting this terrible project that will increase fracking and lock us into 40 years of climate-destroying pollution. Please chip in if you can. If we can stop Woodfibre LNG, we also stop FortisBC's pipeline.

If you have friends or family that live along the pipeline route, please share this email with them, and encourage them to get informed and take action.

We'll have more info for you soon.
