Speak out against fracking!
Fracked gas is B.C.’s biggest climate problem. But the government continues to approve new LNG terminals, and is planning a massive expansion of the fracking industry.
To turn that around, our movement needs to show up bigger, louder, and more often.
That’s the vision behind Frack Free BC, a new alliance of groups and individuals organizing across the province to end fracking.
Earlier this year, we participated in Frack Free BC's first major action, an art blitz that blanketed our towns and cities with posters and banners calling for an end to fracking.
This time around, Frack Free BC is organizing a week of rallies outside MLAs offices in the last week of July as part of their Turn up the Heat summer of action, and we're co-hosting a rally in Squamish.
By making the call to end fracking visible across B.C., we’ll raise awareness in our communities, turn up the heat on politicians and help build a movement strong enough to take on the power of the fossil fuel industry.
